A glamorous ode to her beloved mother.
The Africa Fashion International (AFI) Joburg Fashion Week saw designers give attendees a taste of their new collections. You know a collection blew your mind when you imagine yourself in the clothes and the summery floral collection by Malondié did just that.
Malondié fashion designer and lawyer Londeka Buthelezi says, “This collection was inspired by my mom. I took pieces from her wardrobe and I turned them to what we love today. It was emotional creating it but it was worthwhile because when I look back into everything that she taught me and everything that she has worn in front of me, it created such beautiful pieces.”
